Dear Hamburg scientists,

I am extremely excited to announce that in the second week of October a powerful MINFLUX imaging platform will be installed at UKE .

This microscope will enable to investigate biological elementary structures with molecular resolution  i.e. (1-5) nm imaging resolution.

The microscope will be open to all Hamburg researchers and if you would like to know more please do not hesitate to contact me (a.failla{at}uke.de).

Most important: In order to offer you theoretical and practical insight about  cutting edge super resolution microscopy I invite you to participate to an outstanding workshop that will take place at UKE between the 22nd and 24th of November: "Abberior STED and MINFLUX nanoscopy workshop".

Please find the workshop flyer below.

Facts are:

1) the workshop is free of charge

2) there are not limitation for attend to the theoretical part

3) only 15 places will be available for the practical sections therefore if you are interested book as soon as possible

The workshop is fully booked!

Last but not least Abberior is bringing in during the workshop their STEDYCON their simple but powerful solution to perform STED microscopy in any lab.

You are all warm invited to contact Sandra Kostrowski from Abberior (s.kostrowski{at}abberior-instruments.com) and book a test section at the machine. You can do it, for example, in between two practical sections (Practical sections schedule will come soon).

You are all warmly invited to participate and please diffuse this information to everyone you think might be interested.

Finally we want to express our special thanks to the EU  that via  the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) has financed the UKE MINFLUX imaging platform.

Best wishes

Antonio Virgilio Failla
